La Boum is a Brisbane based band with an enormous repertoire of songs and range of experiences. The band has performed at all sorts of themed events which require large amounts of genre/timeperiod based specific music. The band also currently holds a weekly residency at the iconic nightclub Cloudland in Fortitude valley. This requires a constant inflow of the latest popular new material. Musical director, vocalist and keyboardist Steve Anning runs a tight ship and the success of La Boum has consistently grown since it was conceived a few years ago.
